COVID Relief

Resource Sheet

With the second wave leaving citizens helpless, we sought to compile a wholesome information resource sheet for all essential items in the city and nearby areas. The same has been attached below for reference.

Other needs

The team prepared a humongous database for plasma donors with an effort to connect them to those in need. From circulating plasma requests to contacting donors for the noble cause, the team helped save many lives. We also assisted patients in finding hospital beds, ventilators and oxygen cylinders during the their abysmal shortage.

Vaccination

We even help the under-privileged get registered for their vaccine doses. Since many people do not own digital devices, we assist them with the COWIN portal and inform them about their vaccination details. If your house-help/someone you know has not been vaccinated yet, and they need assistance with the same, kindly drop in their details.

Thanks for submitting!

Food Donation Drives

In an endeavor to fulfil the needs of the less fortunate, Farz conducts donation drives, distributing ration and food packets in various areas of Kanpur. Ration packets comprise essential items such as aata, dal, rice, sugar, salt, etc. During our drives, recently, we even educated people about the benefits of vaccination and other protocols they must follow during COVID. Here are a few pictures from our drives.

We do not believe that the distribution of food among the underprivileged should be photographed. Therefore, you will will not find any such uploads, including them, on the site. However, for establishing the authenticity of our activities, we shall be uploading the pictures of the commodities we distribute.

Blood Donations

Keeping in mind the scarcity of blood, due to the pandemic, as a subsequent threat to the medical field, the team organised a Blood Donation Camp in collaboration with Blood Connect and Think India in Kanpur. We saw around 70 donations. We will be conducting similar drives in the future to ramp up the needed resources. Below are some pictures from the camp.
